Sweet isn’t sweet if never tasted
sour. A phrase from one of the scene films. Can you guess what movie is? That's
the vanilla sky. The film who was starred by Tom Cruise made me to watch it two
times. Why? The first time I watched,
storyline still baffled me. Lots of questions arise in my mind? Why like
this? Why like that ? I didn’t fully understand this movie. Therefore, I took a
time to watch the movie again. And finally my curious has gone.
The stories told about "the
dreams", Perfect life. Life was so beautiful and perfect for David (Tom
Cruise). He had everything.
He was already
rich at a young age, he had a loyal friend and he also had a perfect love,
Sofia (Penelope cruz) was a girls who david loved. Everyone would very envy to
him.
Once, David suffered an accident. The
accident changed the david’s life totally. His leg and face broken. He was
accused killing his girlfriend. So he
had to go to prison. He also was considered as the man who lost his mind,
then he was
accompanied by a psychiatrist. And in the end, David realized that the
happiness was just a dream. He was faced with a choice, whether to continue his
dream or return to real life.
"Sweet isn’t sweet if never tasted sour" said
David’s friend. That's right, life won’t be perfect even in the films. Live is
like a roller coaster, Sometimes we 're on the top and sometimes we are under.
For some people perfect life is just a dream. Beautiful dream will more
beautiful if we awakened and daring to pursue the dream to be real. Is it
possible? Nothing impossible. Sometimes when we give up for everything , then
we will get everything. The most important life is our gratitude to God who has
given us life. Enjoy your life.
