Butterfly Effect
Have
you ever done something wrong in the past? Surely everyone has done. And Have
you ever wanted to go back to the past? I have. One time, I thought to get back
to the past. it isn’t because I regret my life, but I wanted to fix my mistakes
I’ve done in the past. But the thought stopped when I watched butterfly effect.
Here's
a little excerpt from the film. Evan was met again with Kayleigh, his first
love when he was a child. Kayleigh had a messy life. And Evan wanted to change
the destiny of Kayleigh’s life. Evan had the ability to go back in the past and
do many things. Evan succeded to change the past, but that happens in the
future wasn’t like expected. Then Evan back again and again to the past. The
goal was only one, changed the past of Kayleigh, but the result was the same
because the destiny couldn’t be changed as he wants. The small changes in the
past would be big effect in the future.
I
became curious about what relation the title Butterfly Effect with the
storyline that Evan wanted to change destiny.
Butterfly
Effect is a situation in which an event will affect other events. Quoting from
wikipedia, Butterfly effect refers to the idea that the flutter of a
butterfly's wings in Brazil wilderness can produce tornadoes in Texas a few
months later. Only
slight changes in the initial conditions, can drastically change the behavior
of the system in the long term. If the system starts by
2 as initial conditions, then the result will be much different if started by
2,000001. In fact, 0,000001 is very small and reasonable to ignore. In other
words, a very small error will cause a catastrophe in the future.
A
decision can to consequences change the state of things in the world. All the
people, all the decisions, all the events always have connections and influence
to others who take other decisions and generate another event anyway .
So,
be careful with every detail decision we make, because it will effect our lives
in the future. Perhaps the butterfly effect is destiny. Enjoy your life.

Sweet Isn’t Sweet If Never Tasted Sour
Sweet isn’t sweet if never tasted
sour. A phrase from one of the scene films. Can you guess what movie is? That's
the vanilla sky. The film who was starred by Tom Cruise made me to watch it two
times. Why? The first time I watched,
storyline still baffled me. Lots of questions arise in my mind? Why like
this? Why like that ? I didn’t fully understand this movie. Therefore, I took a
time to watch the movie again. And finally my curious has gone.
The stories told about "the
dreams", Perfect life. Life was so beautiful and perfect for David (Tom
Cruise). He had everything.
He was already
rich at a young age, he had a loyal friend and he also had a perfect love,
Sofia (Penelope cruz) was a girls who david loved. Everyone would very envy to
him.
Once, David suffered an accident. The
accident changed the david’s life totally. His leg and face broken. He was
accused killing his girlfriend. So he
had to go to prison. He also was considered as the man who lost his mind,
then he was
accompanied by a psychiatrist. And in the end, David realized that the
happiness was just a dream. He was faced with a choice, whether to continue his
dream or return to real life.
"Sweet isn’t sweet if never tasted sour" said
David’s friend. That's right, life won’t be perfect even in the films. Live is
like a roller coaster, Sometimes we 're on the top and sometimes we are under.
For some people perfect life is just a dream. Beautiful dream will more
beautiful if we awakened and daring to pursue the dream to be real. Is it
possible? Nothing impossible. Sometimes when we give up for everything , then
we will get everything. The most important life is our gratitude to God who has
given us life. Enjoy your life.
